Iggy Azalea: Instagram Fans Highly Worried After Rapper's Statement Following Dancer's Seizure12/28/2018
Iggy Azalea's Instagram page has seen better days, it seems. The Internet's heat has gotten so intense, Azalea's recent posts are looking "depressed."
Here's what reportedly happened. Iggy Azalea was performing at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when suddenly one of Iggy's backup dancers collapsed to the floor and began seizing. As you'll see from the following video, Iggy Azalea didn't appear totally aware of the situation's severity. She continued with the show. Actually, according to Azalea's Instagram response, Iggy thought the dancer had simply "fallen/twisted her ankle" during their performance of "Black Widow."

Iggy Azalea's Instagram Response
Reportedly, Iggy Azalea called for the medical team to assist her dancer, but then continued with the show. According to the Azalea's Instagram story, that's what she was supposed to do until either the music stopped or the team arrived. However, during that time, Iggy still didn't seem to know what was going on with the dancer. Nevertheless, Azalea updated fans with good and bad news via her Instagram.
"Hey guys, Just want to let everyone asking know my dancer is OKAY! [sic]" Iggy Azalea responds. "The lights & heat caused her to have a seizure. She is backstage feeling much better."
Yet, given all the backlash Iggy was facing for continuing her performance, she continued expounding via her Instagram story.
Also, for what it's worth in regards to the backup dancer.
But, then came Iggy Azalea's bad news. Apparently, Iggy wasn't done posting to her Instagram story about her thoughts on the matter. Azalea began to discuss being depressed and feeling "worn down." This part scared her fans into serious concern for the rapper's well-being.
"sometimes I really feel exhausted by the world [sic]," Iggy Azalea begins. "It feels like ANY thing I do becomes an opportunity for people to tell me why I'm s**t, why my music sucks, my clothes are ugly, why I don't matter or Why Im a horrible person."
As Iggy's dialogue continues, she mentions that her last four years feel as if she's just been "existing" in a world where she can do "nothing right."
It's hard not to feel like 'what's the point' & keep motivated. Everyone is just trying to make it through their day. Could we be a little kinder to each other? seeing how much people enjoy being awful to one another is depressing. [sic]
Is Iggy Azalea saying "what's the point" of her career or...life? Hopefully, Iggy's message isn't one treading the line of suicidal depression. Actually, according to the American Association of Suicidology, it defines warning signs as:
"Threatening to hurt or kill him or herself, or talking of wanting to hurt or kill him/herself; and or, looking for ways to kill him/herself by seeking access to firearms, available pills, or other means; and/or, talking or writing about death, dying or suicide, when these actions are out of the ordinary."
The source also mentions "expanded warning signs" as: feeling trapped with no way out, as well as hopelessness.
However, Iggy Azalea didn't specifically talk about death during her Instagram story. Yet, the "hopelessness" and "feeling trapped" signs are there, if that's how Azalea really feels about life right now. Iggy's friends and loved ones need to surround her, keeping her grounded with positivity and love.
While Azalea has dealt with constant ridicule over the years, people must not forget that she's human. A person can only take so much pressure, right? Hopefully, Iggy isn't at a breaking point. But, you can clearly see that she's tired of the bulls**t.
