On March 31, Rapper Nipsey Hussle succumbed to multiple gunshot injuries outside of his store in Los Angeles, California.
Update:
Nipsey Hussle's alleged killer has been caught, arrested, and charged with murder, according to ABC 7. The source reports as follows:
Eric Holder, 29, was charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
If convicted, Holder faces life in state prison, according to the source.
Family and those close to the rapper say it was not a conspiracy, and the government wasn't involved in Nipsey's murder. Instead, reportedly, it was the result of envy and hate from someone known locally for "being a snitch."

Original Story:
According to NBC News, Ermias "Nipsey Hussle" Asghedom was shot and killed outside of his south Los Angeles-based store, The Marathon Clothing Company, located on Slauson Avenue.
For now, limited information is known about Nipsey's shooting, according to Los Angeles authorities. However, there were two other men also injured on the scene. Yet, reportedly, an unidentified suspect is still at large.
Authorities say the incident took place around 3:20 p.m., PST, on the 3400 block of Slauson. According to NBC 4 - Los Angeles, LAPD's Mike Lopez mentions that Nipsey Hussle's death is an ongoing investigation. So far, no one has been detained, and the suspect (or suspects) remain on the run.
What's even more crazy about this situation is that, approximately half an hour before the shooting, Nipsey tweeted the following statement.
Having strong enemies is a blessing. Nipsey Hussle Preached Differently To The Streets
If you knew or followed Nipsey, you know his mindset wasn't about flossing. Instead, the rapper focused on investments and encouraged others in the community and around the country to consider the same.
And this isn't knocking other rappers from the hood, but Nipsey Hussle was just different in his overall mentality. As can be seen from his interview with Hard Knocks TV, even from early-on in his career, he stated he wasn't trying to buy jewelry or the nicest cars. He wanted real estate. He wanted businesses. He wanted assets.
He was also well-invested in cryptocurrency, successfully partnering with Follow Coin. Feel free to check that interview at the provided link.
All in all, someone making a difference like Nipsey Hussle could be seen as a danger to "the stereotype" image that has been pressed so thoroughly throughout the rap industry. Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist or anything, but isn't it wild how anyone trying to change the paradigm gets gunned down...or their character is publicly assassinated?

Not long ago, 21 Savage was arrested by Immigration & Customs Enforcement. It was revealed that he's of British nationality rather than American.
Someone, somewhere, must have known that'd possibly kill his street credibility...and likewise, his music. It was pretty much the starting headline of 2019. Yet, 21 Savage...like Nipsey Hussle...has preached similar messages about accumulating assets and not wasting time on feeble gains like chains and other jewelry.
Nevertheless, it appears that anyone on some foolery is allowed to continue promoting it to the community, since it's detrimental to the people's health and wellness. But seemingly, a Black celebrity preaching some type of change coincidentally becomes a target.
